Tamara’s Roots

A wife, a mother, and a lifelong resident of Peachtree City, Georgia. Tamara has generational ties to Peachtree City that go back decades. Her father obtained his law degree but decided to work through the ranks of the FAA for almost 40 years. Her mother, originally from New York, worked at the Peachtree City Library when Tamara was a child and retired as Library Manager. A McIntosh High School Alumni herself, Tamara, and her family have enjoyed the peacefulness and joy that come from being raised and living in Peachtree City through its many different stages of growth.

As a mother, you are criticized whether you work or stay home. Tamara wore both hats for many years. But her worth and value can been seen in the many volunteer hours she spent in her children’s schools, the halls of her church and the streets of her city.  Often thankless hours, but she is still willing to put herself out there to become a true public servant.

Where Tamara’s Love of Books Comes From

Of all the little boys and girls in the world, I can’t believe God sent you to me.”

Tamara wanted a bonnet for the City’s 1976 Bicentennial Celebration - so her mom made her one.

As President of the Booth Middle School PTO, she was happy to support the school’s first successful Color Run.
